Hello Fashionista's!
It's the beginning of another week, after a great weekend. Today is accessory day! And I'm very happy about what I found over the weekend to share today. A do-it-yourself bracelet! I love making my own fashions and accessories, especially to show off and have people ask me where I got it. And I can say "I made it!" I love being able to say that.
This DIY project is a fabulous gem bracelet that you can make in 3 steps with 3 main tools.
1. The first thing you need to do is gather your materials. Which include many gems (at least 30), Bond Glue, and any color thick ribbon that can tie around your wrist. You can find all of these materials at your local hobby store or even around the house. 2. Now its time to begin. Start by cutting a piece of ribbon about 16 inches long. Make sure you snip both ends on a diagonal slant to keep the ribbon from fraying.
3. Next lay out the ribbon on the table and arrange the gems the in a unique pattern you'd like them to appear in. Overlap the gems for a cool effect. Make sure you leave 4 inches open at each end. so you'll be able to tie it.
4. Finally apply the glue to the back of each gem and carefully attach each gem to the gibbon in your pattern. Make sure you hold each gem in place for a minute to secure it before attaching the next one. When you are finished let your new bracelet dry overnight, so it doesn't fall apart!
Fashionista's enjoy this fabulous bracelet that you made and show it off!
Stay classy and stylish, Fashionista's!
